Biboka decorates footage you shot. It never invents footage, it never renders on our servers, and this page is the full list of what leaves your device.
We never make your footage
Everything Biboka exports started life as your own recording. There is no button here that invents a person, a place or a performance. What we add sits on top of what you filmed: the chat, the captions, the logo, the timing.
Platforms are getting stricter about synthetic video that is not declared, and audiences are getting quicker at spotting it. A Biboka export has nothing to declare, because nothing in it was invented.
It is put together in your browser
There is no render server. Your device does the compositing and the encoding, which is why exporting is free and why your file never has to travel anywhere to become a video.
What actually leaves your device
Four things, and this is the whole list.
- If you use the wizard, a few still pictures from your clip go to Google's Gemini so it can describe what it sees and suggest ideas. Up to five pictures. Never the video file. While sound reading is switched on, which it is today, that becomes three pictures plus up to thirty seconds of the audio. We pay Google for that, and their paid terms say they do not use what we send to improve their products.
- If you save or share a project, what you wrote and any pictures you added go to our storage, so the project survives and a shared link works. Signed in, your clip goes too, so it is waiting on your other devices. If you never save or share, it all stays in this browser.
- While you are on the site, we record what happens on your screen, so we can see where people get stuck. Never what you type: every text box is masked before anything leaves your browser, and your video file is never part of that recording. You can turn this off whenever you like, and it stays off.
- When you ask captions to read your clip, the sound of it goes to Groq so they can type out what you said and when you said it. Up to two minutes. Never the picture, never the video file, and only when you press the button. If you would rather not, type the captions yourself: that always works and it is free.
